Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing our authentic Taiwanese tea. We take great pride in sourcing the finest leaves and ensuring they reach you in peak condition.

1. Shipping Method & Carrier
All international orders are shipped directly from Taiwan via Chunghwa Post EMS (Express Mail Service). This is a premium, fast, and reliable service that includes end-to-end tracking.

2. Order Processing Time
  • All orders are processed within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and Taiwanese public holidays).
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a Chunghwa Post Tracking Number as soon as your tea is dispatched.

3. Estimated Delivery Times
While EMS is generally very efficient, please note that delivery times are estimates and do not include time spent in customs.
  • Asia (Japan, Korea, HK, Singapore): 5–10 business days
  • USA & Canada: 7–21 business days
  • Europe & Oceania: 7–21 business days
  • Rest of the World: 10–30 business days

4. International Customs, Duties & Taxes
  • Import Responsibilities: Your order may be subject to import duties, VAT, or customs fees once it reaches your country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Customs Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country.
  • Refusal of Package: If you refuse a shipment due to high customs fees, we will refund you once the package returns to us, minus the original shipping cost and any return fees incurred.

5. Packaging & Freshness
To ensure you receive the highest quality tea, all our products are:
  • Vacuum-sealed or packed in airtight, light-proof foil bags.
  • Clearly labeled with information in English to comply with international food safety standards.
  • Securely boxed to prevent breakage during transit.

6. Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address, name of the recipient, contact information are entered correctly in English. We cannot be held responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.

7. Special Notice for USA Customers (FDA Compliance)
  • Personal Use: Tea imported for personal consumption (not for resale) is generally permitted. By placing an order, you confirm the tea is for personal use.
  • FDA Regulations: We ensure all tea is packaged and labeled in compliance with international standards. However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reserves the right to inspect any food import, which may occasionally cause a 2–3 day delivery delay.
  • Prior Notice: For large bulk orders, we handle the necessary FDA Prior Notice filings to ensure smooth entry.

8. Special Notice for EU & UK Customers (VAT & IOSS)
  • VAT Charges: Since July 1, 2021, all commercial goods imported into the EU are subject to VAT regardless of value. Our shipping prices do not include VAT.
  • Collection at Delivery: You will likely be contacted by your local postal service or customs office to pay the VAT (and potentially a small postal handling fee) before your tea is delivered.
  • IOSS Disclaimer: We currently do not collect VAT at checkout (non-IOSS). Please monitor your tracking via the Chunghwa Post portal to ensure you pay these fees promptly and avoid the package being returned to Taiwan.
